Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, LL.B (Hons), LL.M, Ph.D, B.L is a Research Professor with the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. Prior to joining the Institute he taught Environmental Law and Policy and International Environmental Law at the Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels in the Faculty of Law of the Lagos State University. Professor Fagbohun was at different times a member of Senate of the Lagos State University; Head of Department of Business Law and later Department of Private and Property law; Co-ordinator, Law Centre, Lagos State University; Co-ordinator the Department of Environmental Law and Allied Disciplines of the Centre for Environment and Science Education of the Lagos State University; Project Facilitator and Resource Person to the British Council, Committee on Ecology and Environment of the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, United Nations Development Programme, the National Judicial Council; Environmental Rights Action & Friends of the Environment, Nigeria.
For several years he was the Editor-in-Chief of the LASU Law Journal; Member, Journal of Nigerian Labour Law; and Chairman, Editorial Board of the Petroleum, National Resources and Environmental Law Journal. He is a member of the National Work-Group for the Streamlining of Environmental laws in Nigeria and Development of Environmental Law and Policy Curriculum for Nigerian Universities; Member, LASEPA Technical Advisory Committee on Environmental Management and Control (Downstream Oil and Gas Sector); Member, Expert Group for the development of Climate Change Policy and Legislation for the Federal Republic of Nigeria; and Director, Environmental Law Research Institute. He is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminars.
Professor Fagbohun has published extensively in local and international journals in the area of environmental law, and co-edited several books among which is a 25 chapter book on “Environmental Law Policy”, and another 31 chapter book on “Development and Reforms; Nigeria’s Commercial Law”. His latest work is an over 630-page book titled, “The Law of Oil Pollution and Environmental Restoration: A Comparative Review” |

Bunmi Moses is the Director of Programme for the Institute. She holds a degree in law LLB (Hons.) and is a Solicitor & Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Law & Practice; Advanced Diploma in Office Management, and a Diploma in Secretarial Studies & Administration. Her professional career started with the British Council Nigeria. As a key member of the Nigeria Governance Team, she contributed |
to the thinking around the governance strategy for Nigeria and critical analysis of its contribution to the wider regional strategy 2010. She frequently, conceptualized, designed, and implemented empowerment programs using innovative, participatory, and culturally sensitive approaches.
Her professional excellence saw her Governance & Youth Officer portfolio to the successful management and delivery of some key projects which includes, the first summit on “The role of effective taxation in a sustainable development in Lagos State., a two day forum on women political participation – within the six south western states of Nigeria; Corporate Governance & Social Responsibility training for key stakeholders in collaboration with UNIC, UK International Business Leaders Forum, NEPAD, Standards Organization of Nigeria, Lagos Business School (Pan African University) and Celtel Nigeria (now Zain); Coordinated capacity building training for NGOS in South East, Nigeria and also the reception for Princess Anne visit to Nigeria. She also initiated the first Nigeria café society videoconferencing programme to discuss governance issues as it affects the Nation (Manchester, Nigeria & Indonesia) November, 2005. She elected to take early retirement 0n November 16, 2007 having served (16) years and joined the Environmental Law Research Institute as the Programme Director.
Ms. Moses has attended several Management, Leadership Seminars and Trainings both within and outside Nigeria. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an accredited member of Corporate Affairs Commission |

Ebere holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Lagos State University, Lagos State. She obtained her Bachelors –at – Law (B.L) at the Nigeria Law School, Lagos. She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP), and African Renaissance Initiatives. She is also and accredited member of the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC). She is a strong |
advocate for the human rights of women and children. Before joining ELRI, she worked with the West African NGO Network (Wangonet) as the Administrative Officer Projects |

Feyi holds a degree in Law LLB (Hons) 2005 from Lagos State University (LASU), a Diploma in Law also from LASU.
She has worked with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Falomo for 4 years. She has a capacity building course on “Gender Equality” at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. |
Before joining the management of ELRI she worked with Mobil Oil Nigeria, Plc for about 10 years. Experiences she has brought to bear as the public relations director for ELRI. |
