About the Course:

This course is designed to provide participants with a broad survey of theoretical and analytical tools for practical understanding of the concept of “environmental management”. It will assist participants’ build a solid knowledge of environment management.

Course Content includes:

• Introduction to Environmental Management;
• Legislative background to Environmental Management: e.g. Constitutional setting;
• Pollution control;
• Integrated waste water management;
• Environmental Management system: ISOs, Environmental planning- e.g.; IDp’s;
• Tools for environmental management, accounting, funding, integrated approaches;
• Public involvement in environmental management among others.
