This course aims to provide participants with a sound knowledge and understanding of the fundamental of environmental economics, in relation to studies of the economic effects of international, national or local economic policies on the environment. It also offers participants an understanding of the application of the principles of economics to the study of how environmental and natural resources are developed and managed.
