» BACKGROUND

ELRI is an affiliate of Environment and Health in Communities of Africans (ENHICA) International Foundation Inc, an International Development Organization established in the United States since 1998. ENHICA is a non-profit Scientific Organization for research and services in the areas of Environment and Human Health issues in Communities of Africans.

It has operations in various parts of Africa, North America and Europe.

ELRI’s strength lies in its ability to create awareness on issues of the environment through advocacy and capacity building programmes aimed at initiating positive change in the way individuals, communities and institutions view environmental and sustainable development issues.  Consequently, ELRI’s strategy targets institutions, communities, individuals and a wide range of different groups in the society.
